
OOB outhit Richmond 6-4 on the evening, with Thomas Fregeau leading the way by going 2-for-3 with a run scored.
Sam Custeau took the hill for the Gulls, pitching five innings and allowing three runs while recording four strikeouts in the loss.
Richmond took control of the game in the third inning by scoring three runs. Richmond’s Tyler Soucy hit an RBI double, while Brendan Emmons hit a sacrifice groundout, followed by an RBI single from Curtis Anderson.
OOB made things interesting in the fourth when Jon Gillis hit an RBI single to cut the Richmond lead to 3-1, however Richmond would get the next two batters out to close the inning.
OOB finishes the regular season with an 8-8 record and secured the No. 8 seed in the Class C South playoffs.

Kennebunk 16, NYA 3
The Kennebunk Rams closed out a perfect regular season with a rout of North Yarmouth Academy on Wednesday.
Jenny Bush led the Rams, who head into the Class B South playoffs as the top seed, with five goals and Kyra Schwartzman added four goals and one assist.
Katie Ross added two goals, while Liv Sanford had one goal and one assist and Hallie Schwartzman, Gabby Fogg and Briannagh Beaudette all had one goal in the win.
Bella Kudas stopped six shots and Mallory Burchill made two saves in the cage for Kennebunk.
Kennebunk (12-0) has a bye into the regional semifinals, which are set for next Saturday.
