
She was born in Portland on Sept. 25, 1948 a daughter of Alonzo Kenneth and Elizabeth (Gillis) Wallace.
She was a graduate of South Portland High School and The University of Southern Maine, with a degree in Anthropology.
In 1972 she married Ralph Douglas “Doug” Edgerton Jr. and became a stay at home mom to care for her two children.
She was predeceased by her parents, Alonzo and Elizabeth (Gillis) Wallace; two sisters, Dorothy Tolliver and Loraine Lundgren; one brother, Alonzo Kenneth Wallace, Jr.; and her loving husband Ralph Douglas “Doug” Edgerton Jr. in 1976.
Surviving are her daughter, Amberlee Moriarty and her husband William Sr.; her son Joshua Edgerton and his wife Kerrie; grandchildren Autumn, Carter, Kurtis, Ashlee and Travis; a sister, Nancy Norton and her husband Lee; and a sister Noreen White.
Visiting Hours will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel.
