Veterans’ flags will be put out at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Beach Street, Saco, at 9 a.m. by members of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Volunteers are welcome.

The Second Congregational Church, 19 Crescent St., Biddeford, will be having a community clean-up from 8- 9:30 a.m. Coffee and tea will be provided before participants pick up litter from surrounding streets. For more information, contact the church office at 284-7898.

The Eastern Trail Alliance will be hosting a 90-minute Eastern Trail Full Moon Walk at 8 p.m. The group will meet at the rear of the Southern Maine Health Care parking lot in Biddeford. The Trail Blazers Family Club will be holding a ham and bean supper from 4-6 p.m. at 102 Bills Lane, Wells. Cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children. Take-out is available. For more information, call Stephanie Bennett at 337-0663.

York County Community Action will be holding training for participants to become financial coaches from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at YCCAC in Sanford. YCCAC was selected as one of five organizations nationally to participate in a pilot initiative by Points of Light to implement the Financial Opportunity Corps program, which recruits and trains volunteers as financial coaches who help people from lowand moderate-income households achieve financial stability. Financial coaches help participants develop strategies to reduce debt, improve credit, start saving for emergencies, access benefits and build assets for long-term financial health.
