Bonny Eagle, 700 Saco Road, Standish, serves students in MSAD 6 from Buxton, Hollis, Standish, Limington and Frye Island.
Cumberland County Sheriff deputies responded to an alarm at the school around 11:20 p.m. Monday, according to a press release from the Cumberland County Sheriff ’s Department. Police found evidence of forced entry and vandalism.
On Tuesday, deputies arrested Ronny Head, 18, of Buxton; and Cullen Dumbrocyo, 19, and Jonathan Betancourt, 18, both of Standish. Each was charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief.
No bail was allowed for Dumbrocyo and Head; Betancourt was assigned $500 bail. They will appear in Cumberland County Superior Court in June, according to police.

Vandals also used fire extinguishers in the building, according to school officials.
Nothing appears to have been stolen, according to school officials. “This was simply an act of vandalism for the sake of vandalism,” said school officials in the release.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
