SANFORD — Master Gardener Ron Vincent will present a series of gardening programs at Goodall Library during the next several months.
Tuesday at 6 p.m., Thornburgh Community Room:
“Soil Testing/ Composting:” An introduction to backyard composting and methods. What to do with yard wastes and kitchen scraps to turn them into a useful product.
May 17 at 6 p.m., Thornburgh Community Room:
“Raised Bed Gardening:” The growing season is here. A variety of methods will be discussed on how to garden in small spaces.
June 7 at 6 p.m., Thornburgh Community Room:
“Container Gardening:” Gardening in containers with flowers and vegetables is possible with a little bit of sun, water, imagination and tender love and care.
