
He was born in Biddeford on Sept. 5, 1936, a son of Charles and Leona (York) Corneau. He was educated at Thornton Academy.
Ted was employed by Fox & Ginn Trucking in Scarborough for many years. In the early 1990s, he retired from Preston Trucking in Scarborough. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 340, where he was shop steward for many years.
He enjoyed farming and gardening on his property, and was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannine Corneau, on Sept. 11, 2013.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Cote and her husband Patrick; and one grandson, Jack.
Visiting hours will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, April 11, at Cote Funeral Home, 87 James St., Saco. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, at Holy Trinity Church in Saco. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Biddeford.
