An Easter egg hunt will take place at Lyman’s Community Library at 10 a.m. at 10 John St.

The event is geared to children aged 2 to10, and there will be “zillions” of eggs hidden around the library, as well as door prizes and snacks. The Easter Bunny will be available for photos, so everyone is encouraged to bring a camera.

A “Pancake Breakfast with the Easter Bunny” will be served from 8-10 a.m. at the Congregational Church of Wells, 1695 Post Road (U.S. Route 1).

Breakfast includes assorted pancakes, bacon or sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice and coffee. The Easter Bunny will be there. Cost is $5 per person (maximum $20 per family). Proceeds are for the benefit of the Youth Fund. For more information, call 641-2212 or email [email protected].

The 45th Annual Waban Telethon will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the St. Ignatius Gym on Riverside Avenue in Sanford. Television coverage will be produced by Metrocast Cablevision (Channel 12) in conjunction with Time-Warner Cablevision (Maine Channel 9 and NH Channel 21 and 22). This year’s viewing area will be from Kittery to Presque Isle, including all York and Cumberland counties as well as most of the state of New Hampshire. Donations may be called in between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. during the day of the telethon by calling 324-5344 or 877-544-4275 or by accessing PayPal on Waban’s web site at www.waban.org.
