SACO — Terry L. von Salza Brown, 64, of McKenney Road, went home to the Lord on Friday, March 11, 2016.

She was born Nov. 29, 1951, in Joliet, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Marilyn Schmieding Hanson. She attended local schools, and received an associate’s degree from DeAnza College in Cupertino, California.

Terry was employed by Diamond Shamrock Corp. for 10 years. She then worked for National Semiconductor Corp. for 10 years, and most recently for Speech Pathology Associates with their Chewy Tubes product.

Terry’s Christian faith was of greatest importance to her, and she was an active member of Galilee Baptist Church in Gorham.

She was a Longaberger Basket Consultant for the Saco area, and was very involved in the Saco Grand Old Party (GOP).

Terry enjoyed making quilts, and they were proudly displayed at her home. She was a member of the Nimble Thimbles Quilt Chapter of the Pine Tree Quilt Guild of Maine.

She is survived by: her husband, Richard of Saco; a son, Ken Hensel of Columbia, Missouri; a daughter, Katie von Salza Brown of Saco; two sisters, Peggy Hanson and Karen Conshafter and her husband Rick; and two grandchildren, Dylan and Hannah Hensel.

Friends and relatives can attend a memorial service for Terry that will be scheduled in the near future at The Galilee Baptist Church, 317 Main St., Gorham.
