LONDON (AP) — Producer Michael White, who brought the racy “Oh! Calcutta!” to the London stage and the outrageous “Rocky Horror Picture Show” to the screen, has died. He was 80.
British media quoted ex-girlfriend Lyndall Hobbs as saying White died of heart failure in California.
The Glasgow-born impresario produced his first West End show in his mid- 20s. Stage credits included the London premieres of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” ‘’A Chorus Line” and “The Rocky Horror Show.”
