
She was born in Biddeford on June 11, 1931, a daughter of Andrew and Blanche (Rock) Fournier. She was a graduate of Thornton Academy.
After high school, Janet worked for her father at Scammon’s Market in Saco. She also was employed by Fairchild Corp. for several years.
She married her next door neighbor Bud on June 2, 1951, at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, where she was a parishioner.
She enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her family. Her hobbies included painting, ceramics and playing the organ.
She is survived by: her husband, Reginald “Bud” Grenier of Saco; and her son, Neal Grenier and his wife Muriel of Saco.
Visiting hours will be 4- 7 p. m. Monday, March 7, at Cote Funeral Home, 87 James St., Saco. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco.
