
He was born April 7, 1962, in Biddeford, son of Harvey R. and Virginia J. (Shaffer) Paul. He graduated from Biddeford High School in 1981, then enlisted in the Navy and served four years.
He met his future wife, Daretta Clark, while serving his country. They married and had twin daughters, Cassie and Megan.
Vincent worked at Electromet Inc. as a supervisor/ machinist for the last 18 years. He loved fishing, hiking, anything outdoors, music and an occasional good cigar, but beyond words, he loved his family.
He was preceded in death by: His father, Harvey, and a sister, Margaret.
He is survived by: His mother, Virginia Paul of Biddeford; his wife of 31 years, Dee; his daughters, Megan and her husband Jeffrey Berkey, and Cassandra Paul and her fiancée Jonathan Vena; six grandchildren – who lovingly called him “Mer” – Zachary, Christopher, Amelia, Alexis and Emily, all of Windber, Pennsylvania; siblings Anthony and wife Claire, Andrew and wife Priscille, Harvey and wife Janet, Bradley and wife Laura, Christopher and wife Sharon, Naomi Pelletier and husband Roland, Anna Morissette and husband Michael, Mary Petit and husband David, and Virginia Paul-McCrory and husband Michael; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family, all of Biddeford and the surrounding communities.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at St. Anne’s Chapel, 178 Elm St., Biddeford.
