SACO — A pair of local boys basketball standouts were named Southwestern Maine Activities Association First Team All-Stars and another local earned an individual honor.

Thornton Academy point guard Jack Tilley and Massabesic forward Tyus Sprague-Ripley both earned first-team honors and TA sophomore David Keohan was named the SMAA Rookie of the Year.

Massabesic senior Ryan Gullikson was named to the All-SMAA Second Team, while teammate Dan Amabile and Sanford’s Ethan Belanger were named to the third team.

Thornton Academy teammates Ben Lambert and Rome Pura were named All-SMAA honorable mentions.

The All-SMAA Rookie Team includes Biddeford’s Kyle Norton.
