York County Sheriff’s Office had intended, back in 2010, to recognize Lisa Boisvert, of Waterboro, who jumped into the Little Ossipee River and rescued a woman, her infant and a 3-year-old from a submerged car. A plaque was ordered at the time – and then recently discovered in a closet at the sheriff’s office. So deputies made it right one day last week when they honored Boisvert for her heroism.
