Bowdoin – Frank D. Sliker, 83, of Bowdoin, Me passed away unexpectedly on January 24, 2019 at his home. He was born in Lebanon, NJ on May 27, 1935 the son of Austin and Lillian (Lesk) Sliker.
Frank served our country in the Navy, retired a Vietnam Veteran and was a welder for Bath Iron Works (retired) and a member of the local S6.
Frank is survived by his sons: Michael Sano, Richard Sano, Kris Sliker, and daughtersLinda Johnsen, Kathy Vigue, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Frank was predeceased by his parents, his wife Savina T. Sliker, son Paul Sliker and a grandson Matt Sliker.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, January 31 from 5-7 PM at the Kincer Funeral Home 130 Pleasant St. Richmond, Me with a funeral ceremony at 7. Franks Burial will take place at the Maine Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Augusta in the spring time.
