
She was born in Biddeford on Oct. 8, 1947, the daughter of Hertel and Irene Corriveau Marcoux, attended St. Andre School and graduated from Biddeford High School, Class of 1966.
Denise married her high school sweetheart, Lucien “Lou,” at St. Andre Church on June 22, 1968, and was a stay-at-home mom. Together, they own TJ’s Pizza in Biddeford.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years; one daughter, Tina Turgeon and her husband Jeffrey; one son, Jason Chantigny and his wife Wendy; four grandchildren, Alex Agreste, Taylor Turgeon, Dominique Chantigny, and Jillian Chantigny; one brother, Royal Marcoux and his wife Margaret, all of Biddeford; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visiting hours. A graveside service and burial will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford in June 2016 (date to be determined). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to SMHC’s Cancer Care Program and mailed to SMHC Development Office, One Medical Center Drive, Biddeford, ME 04005.
