From the Journal Tribune: “As families and friends around York County gather to celebrate Thanksgiving, State Police expect traffic to be heavy in many locations around Maine during the four-day Thanksgiving weekend. State Police have planned additional enforcement efforts to prevent highway accidents this year.”

From the Biddeford-Saco Journal: “Schools will be out, shops will be closed and kitchens will be the busiest places in town as local residents gather with families and friends to celebrate Thanksgiving Day tomorrow. Offices in Biddeford and Saco’s city halls and town offices at Old Orchard Beach will be closed for the day.”
