
The Warriors jumped out to a 27-0 lead after the opening quarter and would take a 41-0 lead into the locker room at the half.
Reid Chase opened the scoring for Wells with a 21-yard touchdown run just 30 seconds into the first quarter.
The Warriors would go to the air for their second score as quarterback Owen Berry hit Sam Hazlett on a 25-yard scoring strike. Keegan Reidy would hit the PAT to make it 14-0.
Evan Whitten and Nick Hansen would also add scoring runs in the first quarter to push the lead to 27-0 heading into the second.
In the second quarter, the Warriors would get touchdowns from Berry, who tossed a 26-yard TD pass to Whitten, and Hansen added a one-yard scoring plunge to extend the lead to 41-0.
Tyler Bridge would score two touchdowns – including a 45-yard run – in the second half to put the exclamation point on the win.
Wells will now face No. 2 Cape Elizabeth, which knocked off No. 7 Gray-New Gloucester by a 33-16 score last night. That game will most likely be next Friday night at Cape Elizabeth.
