ALFRED — Police arrested a 40-year-old Alfred man Monday night, after the man allegedly fired a gun inside and outside his home at 280 Sanford Road.
Police allege Thomas Prioa fired the gun, which prompted a young girl to flee the residence. Prioa later went to a nearby residence where he was still acting aggressively and York County Sheriff ’s deputies used a stun gun to subdue him, a Maine State Police spokesman said this morning .
Prioa was charged with reckless conduct and taken to the York County Jail in Alfred.
Maine State Police, York County Sheriff ’s deputies and Sanford police responded to the call. Information on bail or a court date for Prioa was not immediately available.
