The Abenaki Draft Horse Association, Duke Lane, Lyman is hosting an Octoberfest on Sunday, Oct. 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be horse-drawn wagon rides through the woods, food, face painting, a cider making demonstration and a rock splitting demonstration.
Two silent films will be shown with accompanying live music at Loranger Middle School in Old Orchard Beach on Sunday, Oct. 18 at 2 p.m. Silent films “Show People” and “Cops” will be shown and Dennis James will play accompanying music on the antique Wurlitzer organ. Tickets are $12. Children under 12 are free.
