A talk called “Architectural Salvage” will be presented by Anthony Taylor, who is an old house consultant and architectural designer, at the Buxton-Hollis Historical Society Library and Museum, 100 Main St., Route 4A, Bar Mills/Buxton at 7 p.m. The program will feature changing rural and urban neighborhoods in New England that have been affected by either the preservation or destruction of historic buildings. Taylor will also discuss old houses in the area, using regional traits and examples from his collection as clues to determine the dates of construction.
