From the Journal Tribune: “A new single dispatch and E911 communication center in York County, perhaps on leased land adjacent to the new York County Jail, would cost about $4 million in the first year. The total sum includes personnel, land leases, building construction costs and equipment purchases projected by SSI Services of Harrisburg, Pa., in the second phase of a county-wide dispatch communications study.”

From the Biddeford-Saco Journal: “(Old Orchard Beach) Councilman David McCallum of district 2, today said that he is very ‘disturbed’ to discover that engineering and architectural fees were not included in the contract for the construction at the high school. This contract was signed by the council. McCallum also revealed that bond fees were not included in the contract. These amount to approximately $1,200, he said.”
