
She was born in Biddeford on April 6, 1942, a daughter of Harley and Florence (Lowell) Grant. She attended Biddeford schools. In 1960, she entered the military, where she finished her education. She also received an associate’s degree in nursing while serving in the Army.
Betty left the Army in 1964, returning home to Maine.
Miss Grant enjoyed camping, fishing, and also tennis. She also had a love for dogs, especially black labs. Betty loved being with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by: two sisters, Shirley and Sharon; and one brother, Harley.
She is survived by: seven sisters, Helen, Dorothy, Judith, Irene, Alice, Norma, and Phyllis; by six brothers, Arthur, Willis, Nathan, Paul, Roger, and Robert; and by several nieces and nephews.
