The Maine Drone Peace Walk made its way through Skowhegan on Sunday after starting in Limestone last week. The marchers are scheduled to pass through Farmington, Waterville and Augusta this week en route to Bath.
March organizer Bruce Gagnon, of Bath, said drones are “killing machines.” His group is opposed to the domestic use of drones for surveillance as well as the military use of drones overseas, which often lead to the civilian deaths.
President Barack Obama approved use of drones for surveillance in February.
