LEWISTON — The Public Theatre, Lewiston/Auburn’s Professional Theatre is holding auditions on Saturday, Oct 19 by appointment only for a young boy or girl to play the role of child/Tiny Tim in its annual production of “A Christmas Carol.”
Ideally the boy or girl should be no taller than 5 feet and appear to be younger than 13 years old with a childlike sense of innocence and spunk capable of memorizing some of Dickens’ language.
The young actor or actress must be available for rehearsals and performances from Dec 2 – 15.
This job is a paid position. Being a professional theatre, this is an intense two-week commitment of time that will require missing some school. There are also numerous rehearsal and performance days.
To audition, email the child’s name, age, photo and contact information by Monday, Oct. 14 to [email protected] or call 782- 2211 for more information.
Once materials are received, the theater will call to set up an audition.
