Henry Savage Jr. passed away on Aug. 17, 2015. He was born on April 12, 1938, to Henry E. and Erna M. Savage of Bath.
He married to Marcia Wyman in the late 1960s and later divorced in the 1970s. He was married to Dorothy Staples until her death in 1987.
Mr. Savage worked at Auerbach Shoe Company until 1973, Bill Whorff Construction, then at Bath/Stinson Canning Company until 1993. In his later years, he delivered newspapers for The Times Record and the Portland Press Herald.
Mr. Savage is predeceased by three sisters Grace, Doris and Ruth, and one brother Phillip.
Surviving are two brothers, George and Kenneth of West Bath, and one sister, Linda of Brunswick. Mr. Savage is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Of note is Richard Lewis, who spent a good deal of time making Mr. Savage’s life more complete in his last year.
A committal service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery on Aug. 27 at 11:30 a.m.
