BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Shambhala Meditation Center is offering a five-week introductory meditation class, “Making Friends with Yourself ” 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15 through Oct. 13, The course, which is open to beginning and more experienced meditators, will focus on the rewards of mindfulness practice.
Classes, facilitated by Angela Lutzenberger and Kathy Bither, will include an introduction to meditation practice along with discussion based on readings from the book “Mindfulness in Action” written by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. The Brunswick Shambhala Meditation Center is located at 19 Mason Street next to Icon Gallery.
