The Harlow Gallery will showcase ceramic works by 32 artists in the exhibition “Fired Up,” which will be on view July 31 through Aug. 22 at 160 Water St. in Hallowell. “Fired Up” culminated from an open call to artists working from clay and was juried by Harlow Gallery staff. Out of 106 submissions, 85 works of art will be included in the final show, including utilitarian, decorative and conceptual pieces.

A public reception will be held tonight, from 5-8 p.m. Both the exhibition and the reception are free and open to the public. Hours are noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday.
