WOOLWICH — The Bob Meade Classic 10K road race and Fun Run is scheduled to be held on Aug. 1 as part of the Woolwich Day Celebration.
The Fun Run kicks things off at 8 a.m., with 10K runners hitting the road at 8:30 a.m. from Nequasset Park.
The hilly course runs through residential areas featuring both paved and dirt roads.
The cost to pre-register is $10, $12 on race day. Entry fee for the Fun Run is $5. T-shirts will be provided to the first 50 runners to register for the 10K. Awards will be presented to the top finishers (male and female), along with two age categories (12-21, 22 and older). Proceeds support activities through the Woolwich Recreation Committee.
