BRUNSWICK — Police subdued an 18-year-old student at the Spurwink School after she allegedly assaulted a staff member Tuesday morning.

Brunswick police Officers Russell Wrede and Patrick Mahar answered the call shortly before 10 a.m.

When they arrived, they had to physically restrain the student until she could be taken by ambulance to Mid Coast Hospital for evaluation.

No charges were filed; no serious injuries were reported.
