Shirley (Labbe) Rector — Born March 6, 1951 died peacefully at home with family at her side after a long illness.
She attended Brunswick schools graduating from B.H.S. in 1970.
She worked BNAS at MWR and later as manager of the Officers Club on base retiring after 20 years then went to work for her brothers business, Ray Labbe and Sons Construction, till her retirement due to illness.
She enjoyed vacations to Sanibel Island, Fla yearly and enjoyed spending time at camp in Jackman, Maine.
She is predeceased by her father Raymond Labbe, brother Raymond Labbe Jr. and sister
Monica Russell of Bath.
She is survived by her husband Robert of 47 years and son Shane of Bowdoinham, also her mother Madeline McMahan of Florida, and sisters Blanche Labbe of Durham, Gail Riendeau of Brunswick, Mabel MacLain of Brunswick, and Joan Labbe Sees of Florida. Also survived by brothers Paul Labbe of Brunswick, Peter Labbe of Brunswick, Roland Labbe of Gray, and David Labbe of S. Carolina, and several nieces and nephews.
At the family’s request there will be no services.
A donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in her honor would be appreciated.
