Davenport allowed only five hits as he went the distance. He also helped his own cause with a three-run home run. Andrew Pratt, Amos Herrin and Evan Roberts all had doubles in Franklin County’s (6-1) victory.
Darren Wood went the first three innings for Smith Tobey (1-6) before finishing the game behind the plate. He had two hits, including a double. Nick Doughty also had a pair of hits.
Smith-Tobey is slated to host Bethel today at 5:45 p.m. on Kelley Field in Bath.
