TOPSHAM — Richard Lee Field, age 59, died suddenly on Saturday, June 27, 2015.
He was born on Oct. 29, 1955, in Brunswick, ME, a son of Joseph R. and Catherine H. Berry Field. He attended Brunswick schools. He married Laura Larkin in Topsham in 2006.
He worked as a carpenter and home builder in the area for several contractors. He worked for several years for the town of Topsham. He spent much of his free time doing chores for others, working on cars, doing handy work for friends.
He is predeceased by his father, Joseph Field, and an uncle, Charles Berry.
He is survived by his wife, Laura of Freeport; a stepson, Bryce Larkin; a brother, Frank Field and his wife Coleen of Brunswick; his mother, Catherine Field of North Ansom; nephews, Cory Field and Richard Wasko; a niece, Brianne Field; a uncle Francis Berry of Brunswick; several cousins.
Friends and family may visit from 4 to 7 p.m. on July 3, 2015, at Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick. Interment will be in Growstown Cemetery in Brunswick. Condolences and memories can be expressed at www.brackettfuneralhome.com.
