“Don’t Get Scammed,” will be held Monday, July 8, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Mid Coast Senior Health Center, 58 Baribeau Drive in Brunswick.
This presentation will help participants understand how to be savvy with their finances and what resources the Maine Office of Securities has to assist residents. Laxon will present warning signs of a scam, how to protect oneself from scams, information on how to keep investments safe, and what the Maine Office of Securities can do to help.
