BATH — The Cosmopolitan Club continues to celebrate its 100th anniversary with its 39th annual Strawberry Shortcake Festival, noon to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 4.
Women of the Cosmopolitan Club will prepare and serve nearly 500 shortcakes made with freshly baked biscuits, ripe Maine strawberries and real whipped cream. Each treat will cost $5, which includes lemonade or iced tea.
Proceeds from this event will go toward renovation efforts of the Greek Revival clubhouse at 894 Washington St.
