BATH — Bath Iron Works received three hits from Thomas Guild en route to a 7-6 victory over Montsweag Road House in Bath Cal Ripken minor baseball action on Saturday.
Wyatt Wallace struck out four in three innings of work for the win, with Guild closing things out, with three strikeouts in two innings.
Guild tripled and singled twice to pace the BIW offense, with Lucas Quimbly and Kiernan Mann adding two hits apiece.
Montsweag pitcher Dominic Hood struck out five, while Aiden Wyman and Jonah Smith fanned three combined. Wyman, Smith and Levi Whitney had one hit each.
