FREEPORT — Six players scored at least one goal as the Freeport High School girls lacrosse team bounced Wells, 14-9, in Western Maine Conference play on Thursday.

Jocelyn Davee led the way for the 6-5 Falcons with five goals, while Meredith Broderick added three, Lizzy Martin two goals and an assist, Bethanie Knighton two scores, Aubrey Pennell one goal and two helpers, and Nina Moore one goal.

Freeport concludes its regular season this upcoming Thursday at home against Greely.

CAMDEN HILLS 15

The visiting Shipbuilders held off a second-half rally from the Windjammers to pick up a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference win.

Morse improved to 7-4 and visits Messalonskee on Tuesday, while Camden fell to 5-6.

Bronwyn Morissette (five goals, two assists) and Sadia Crosby (five goals, one assist) led Morse on the scoresheet. Ruth Nadeau chipped in three goals and a helper, Isabelle Paulus three goals, and Paige Martin one goal, while Sophie Sreden added two assists, and Maddy Olsen and Monica Frempong one assist apiece.

Alice Flint and Addie Drinkwater led a balanced Camden attack with three goals each, while Lea Smith, Addie Bragg, Kristina Alex and Hannah Wincklhofer chipped in two goals apiece.

Cat Sener had seven saves in goal for the Shipbuilders.

BRUNSWICK 8
MESSALONSKEE 15

The host Eagles improved to 11-0 by downing 3-9 Brunswick at Thomas College in Waterville. Eliza Brooks scored four goals for Brunswick, which concluded its regular season.
