The girls each submitted entries describing how the program has inspired fitness and better nutrition in their school. Sreden was recently recognized for her ongoing commitment to making healthful changes in schools and was chosen as the 2013- 2014 Fuel Up to Play 60 state ambassador. This summer, she will travel to the Carolina Panthers stadium in Charlotte, N.C., to attend the Fuel Up to Play 60 Student Ambassadors Summit. Diana Hixon, program adviser, said Noa “has demonstrated a real commitment to wellness promotion here at Bath Middle School.” Fuel Up to Play 60 is an in-school nutrition and physical activity program created in partnership with the Maine Dair y & Nutrition Council and the National Football League.
