BATH — Ricky Warren pitched six innings, and Morse stole eight bases as the Shipbuilders edged past Belfast, 6-5, in high jayvee baseball action on Tuesday.

Warren struck out four and allowed two earned runs, with Chase Smith pitching the seventh with one strikeout in picking up the win.

Taylor Avery, James LaCavera and Jacob True each had two hits for Morse, with Avery and LaCavera adding two RBIs each.

Tied 5-5 in the seventh, Tyler Young reached on an infield single and stole second. Isaiah Cogswell delivered a two-out, RBI single to center field as the Shipbuilders won their opener.
