TOPSHAM — Dale Plummer’s Pro Baseball Experience “Bullpen” pitching sessions are scheduled to be held at Mt. Ararat High School on Sunday and Jan. 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. This is for boys in grades 3-12.
The “Bullpen” session is entirely focused on pitching fundamentals and mental focus. The pitching delivery is broken-down into various stages, each covered extensively and repeated several times during the session.
Each participant may be asked to catch a very limited amount for a partner of equal size and ability. PBE stresses the importance of arm care and injury prevention with quality pitching mechanics and mastering these as a top priority.
The fee is $40.
The Pro Baseball Experience (PBE) Winter Baseball Academy involves 10 Sunday sessions (9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.) at Mt. Ararat High School.
At PBE, participants experience practice sessions formulated based upon what the professional and college players execute during their spring training,” said Plummer, the Colby College baseball coach. “This includes a warm-up routine, station-tostation workouts, contests and simulated games.”
The Winter Academy fee is $300.
