HADLEY, Mass. — Bates College first-year student/athlete Srishti Sunil captured the women’s track and field New England Small College Athletic Conference Women’s Field Performer of the Week award on Monday, after two record-setting performances at the five-team Colby Invitational on Saturday.
Sunil cleared 5-05 in the high jump to tie senior Colby Gail’s (Topsham) record in the event. She also broke the team record in the long jump with a distance of 17-08.25.
Bates competes at the Aloha Relays at Bowdoin on Saturday, with the heptathlon beginning on Friday.
