Curtis Memorial Library in Brunswick was festooned with April Fools’ Day jokes on Wednesday, including more than 700 rubber ducks that wound their way around the premises, rubber snakes, and furniture with faces. Many staff members also wore silly costumes. Maine State Music Theatre, Fascination Station Toys, and Pemaquid Watershed Association loaned props for the event.
