Starting Tuesday, Oct. 30, the food pantry at the Neighborhood Faith Community, United Church of Christ at 150 Congress Ave., will be open from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays.
Currently, the hours are 6-8 on Tuesday and 2-4 on Friday.
The Bath Area Food Bank, which runs the food pantry, also has operated a soup kitchen at First Baptist Church. The Food Bank board on Tuesday night voted to reopen the soup kitchen, on a temporary basis, from 11 a.m. until noon on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, beginning this Friday.
