
The Bath Area Family YMCA Girls Gymnastics team hosted CLC and Auburn-Lewiston Saturday with great results, including the addition of Jane Nordman, Gabriella Taylor, Susannah Williams, Hannah Baker and Michaela Anderson to the team’s 9.0 Club.
In the Level 2 age 8A division, Williams earned first place all-around with a 35.25. Williams was first on vault (9.1) and floor (8.8). With a 34.9, Macie Shiers placed second all-around, with a first on bars (8.8) and second on vault (9.0). Sarah Ouellette was first on beam (8.8), third on floor (8.3) and placed third all-around with a 33.4. Teammate Makenzie Beal placed fifth all-around (32.85). Beal was third on vault (8.8) and fourth on beam (8.3).

In the 10 year-old division, Baker earned first allaround (35.7), and was first on both bars (9.0) and beam (9.1). Baker tied for first on the floor with teammate Anderson with a 9.0. Anderson placed second all-around (34.3) and was first on vault (8.8).
In Level 3 age 9 division, Sophie Wood (32.1) and Molly Newell (31.3) captured fourth and fifth all-around respectively. Wood placed second on bars (8.1), while tying for third on vault (8.7) with Newell. Newall also placed third on bars with a 7.9.
In the 10 year-old division, Carolyn Carter placed third all-around with a 33.05. She was second on floor (8.65) and fifth on vault (8.6), with teammate Emma Dobransky placing seventh all-around (31.0) and was second on vault with an 8.9. Dobransky also earned sixth on beam and seventh of floor with a 7.55.
In Excel Silver, ages 11-14, Rachel Ouellette earned first place all-around with a 35.75. She was able to take home first on floor (9.3) and beam (8.9).
Jenny Bakewell was second all-around (34.35), and was second on bars (9.2) and third on beam (8.65). Jane Nordman placed first on bars with a 9.25, fourth on both vault (8.5) and beam (8.55) and was third allaround with a 34.3. Mari Domingos placed second on vault (8.8) and was fourth on bars (8.75) and in the allaround (33.85). An 8.9 on vault earned Charlotte Carter a first on vault. She was also second on beam (8.75) and placed fifth in the all-around with a 33.4.
Tori Hersey (33.2) and Tatiana Scott (30.4) placed sixth and seventh all-around respectively, with Scott placing second on floor (8.6) and sixth on vault (8.3), while Hersey placed third on both vault (8.6) and floor (8.5).
In the Level 4 competition, Elizabeth Bingham, age 9, earned first place all-around with a 33.8, while placing first on bars (8.9) and floor (8.7). Teammate Grace Delano was third in the allaround (32.1), and placed second on both the bars (8.25) and floor (8.45).
In the 10 year-old division, Kallie Maney earned third all-around (31.45) and was second on vault (7.9) and third on floor (8.5). Julianne Salko was fourth all-around (30.9), while capturing third place on bars (7.9) and fourth on floor (8.0).
In the 12 year-old competition Anna Yankee earned second place all- around with a 31.65. Yankee was first on vault (8.0) and second on floor (8.65).
In the Level 6 competition, Rachel Poulton earned first place all-around with a 32.45. She was first on both vault (8.3) and floor (8.9). Molly Klein and Audrey Crews earned second and third respectively, with Klein coming in first on beam (8.2) and second on floor (8.4), while Crews placed second on vault (7.8) and third on beam (7.85).
In the Excel Gold age 13 competition, Hannah Goodman (32.95) and Atti Shepherd (31.7) earned second and fourth respectively. Goodman earned first place on the vault (8.5) and tied for third on floor (8.7). Shepherd earned first place on beam (8.4) and was fourth on floor (8.6).
In the 14 year-old division Gabriella Taylor earned first place all-around with a 35.45. With a 9.0, Taylor placed first on both bars and floor.
In the Excel Platinum, age 14-15, Havi Ellers earned second all-around, placing first on both vault (8.4) and beam (8.2).
In the age 16-plus competition, Kayla Soucy was first all-around with a 36.5, earning first place on both bars (9.25) and floor (9.2). Teammate Lilia Hayford earned second all-around with a 34.95, and placed second on both vault (9.0) and bars (9.1). Maya Kosak earned third all-around (32.7), and was third on floor (8.5) and fourth on vault (8.7). Marisabel Rodriguez (31.0) and Kimberly Brown (23.55) earned fourth and fifth allaround respectively. Rodriguez was third on both vault (8.8) and bars (8.5), while Brown earned fourth on floor (8.05) and fifth on vault (8.5).
Poulton, Yankee, Taylor, and Kosak earned their second qualifying score and will have the opportunity to represent the Bath YMCA team at the Regional meet in May. The gymnasts competed this past weekend at the Old Town/Orono YMCA.
