AUGUSTA (AP) — Maine State Police say two people have died in separate crashes in Whitefield and Westbrook.
Troopers say 62-year-old Robert Frith was killed Friday when the dump truck that he was driving overturned and hit a tree in Whitefield. Frith was working for BHS in Farmingdale, and his truck was loaded with gravel. The accident happened along an unpaved road.
In Westbrook, troopers say a man was killed while outside his vehicle Friday along the Maine Turnpike. Details weren’t immediately available.
