
Peter was self employed. His family roots are in the West Bowdoin Baptist Church, including Vacation Bible School, which was attended with his siblings and cousins. As a child he enjoyed spending time at the “Farm.”
Peter greatly enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, nature was his sanctuary. In the summer you would most likely find him with a fishing pole in hand. He loved sports and excelled at any he took hand in. He loved his family, children, and friends. To sum it up, he was an amazing guy, with great character, and a friend to so many. He will be dearly missed.
He leaves behind his son Peter A. Milliken Jr. of West Virginia, his wife Trisha Milliken of Brunswick, his stepchildren, Brianna Ramsey, Dylan Ramsey, Kaleb “Toad” Fontaine and Kolby “Bear” Fontaine, all of Brunswick; his beloved parents, Glen and Mary Ellen Allen of Sabattus; his father Peter L. Milliken and wife Marie; siblings; Julie, Lancer and wife Sarah, Tonia and husband Brian, Shelly-Rae and husband Jeremy, Glen Jr. and wife Nicole, Erica, Dottie and husband Jeff; nieces and nephews Amy, Ronnie, David, Sam, Lancer Jr., Lucas, Jadia, Kayla-Rae, Dakota, Montana, Carson, Glenn III, Breanne, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Camden, Noah and baby, Brittany, Cole and Josh; he was also a greatuncle to Ava and Sawyer.
Peter was predeceased by his mother
Dorothy L. Milliken (Rancourt); grandparents George and Lois Rancourt, Raymond and Vera Allen, and Hilda McCarthy.
A memorial service and celebration of Peter’s life will take place at Pathway Vineyard Church on Friday, Feb. 20 at 3 p.m. At his prior request, there are no visiting hours. Interment will take place in the spring in the family lot at West Bowdoin Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to help defray funeral costs. Contributions can be sent to the Peter A. Milliken Fund, c/o Tonia Ross, Lisbon Community Federal Credit Union P.O. Box 878 Lisbon, ME 04250.
