
Born December 27, 1919 in Five Islands, he was the son of Fredrick and Orissa Davis Carr. He was a veteran of WWII. He was Gunmans Mate, 1st Class on the USS Perry. He was also in the European Theater.
For 30 years he was a supervisor in the copper mines in Arizona. He loved hunting, fishing and lobstering.
He is predeceased by two wives; Thelma Sutherland and Marie Moore and 6 brothers and sisters; Edward, Charles, Harry, Betty and Jeannette.
He is survived by one sister, Marian Bogan who resides in Virgina. A daughter Janice Ramsdell and her husband Earl of Windham, a son Alan Carr and his wife Julie of Albany Township. 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

Five Islands prior to his stay at the Veterans Home in South Paris.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Oct 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bath.
