ORONO (AP) — Jimmy Gray’s 3-pointer with two seconds remaining lifted Binghamton over Maine 57-56 Saturday, ending the Bearcats’ 12-game losing streak.

Jordan Reed scored 16 of his 20 points in the second half for the Bearcats (3-16, 1-5 America East Conference).

Gray finished with 14 points and was 3 of 5 from long range in the second half.

Justin Edwards scored 12 points for Maine, which has lost three straight. The Black Bears (7-11, 2-3) led 32-21 at halftime and 44-32 with 12:25 to play. Maine shot 33.3 percent (nine of 27).
