BRUNSWICK — Senior men’s basketball player John Swords has been named to the Capital One Academic All-District Men’s Basketball Team.
A Government and Legal Studies major, Swords owns a 3.79 GPA and is one-of-six recipients from District I (New England). He is now eligible for the Capital One Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
