Passenger Rail Authority has announced The Reel Experience Video Challenge, asking Amtrak Downeaster riders to videotape or photograph their Downeaster travel experience for a chance to win prizes.
Four prizes will be awarded, including tickets on Amtrak trains. A Student Prize for college students will consist of $500, two roundtrip tickets between Brunswick and Washington, D.C. and a GoPro camera.
Submissions are due at noon May 9. Voting will take place through June 16. The rail authority will own the rights to all submitted footage and may use some of the material in upcoming promotional campaigns.
