BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick High School jayvee Orange girls used a swarming half-court trap in a 33-21 victory over Mt. Blue on Tuesday.
Brooke Barter, Sabrina Armstrong and Heather Kinee were instrumental in forcing numerous Cougar turnovers, while Margaret Dickinson blocked seven shots and Ketura Stinson rejected six Mt. Blue attempts.
Down 5-2 after a quarter, the Dragons rebounded to send the game to the half deadlocked at 16.
Armstrong paced Brunswick with 12 points, five steals and seven rebounds. Dickinson chipped in seven points.
